Pursuit Store Manager: Over-the-Rhine Pursuit is all about outfitting our customer’s for the biggest moments in life. We specialize in modern suits with old-fashioned service at an excellent value. Tyler and Emily were married July of last year in St Henry, Ohio. They are a couple with impeccable style day-to-day so we would expect nothing less of them on their big day!
This beautiful wedding was held at the Waterview Lofts Port Detroit! Even with the groomsmen being scattered geographically, Tremaine knew we’d take care of all the guys, whether they could make it to our shop or not.
In the fall of 2011, Pursuit had been open about a month and I was trying to drive traffic into the new shop. I don’t remember where it came from but I had an idea…Christmas sweaters.
We first met Quinn and Steve in the early days of Pursuit. Quinn was a wedding officiant with a penchant for bow ties so the guys made frequent stops at our Gateway pop-up and later our Short North shop. When they came to us to outfit them and their groomsmen for their own wedding, we were excited and honored.
One of the best parts of being an independent business in Columbus is the opportunity to collaborate with other local businesses we love. We had the opportunity to gear up the guys at Turner’s Barber Shop & Shaving Parlor shortly before they celebrated their 4th anniversary of opening the shop.
When Pursuit first launched as a pop-up shop an Ohio State student named Parker quickly became one of our most loyal supporters and a good friend. When the two got engaged I was excited to find out that Pursuit was going to outfit Parker and his guys and I’d be on the guest list. And the wedding did not disappoint
The Franklin Park Conservatory is a Columbus gem and made the perfect venue for Nakia and Jeff’s beautiful wedding! Julian Allen Photography captured these great images of the lush setting and was kind enough to share them with us.
One of our favorite things about Pursuit weddings is seeing the personality of the bride & groom come through in the photos of their wedding and these fantastic photos from Addison Jones Photography capture their spirit, (fun, clever, creative) so well.
With so many Pursuit weddings happening in Ohio we always enjoy seeing our suits in other parts of the country too. Being a part of the wedding of Caitlin & Mason in Bentonville, Arkansas was a real treat for us. Big thanks to Corrie Childers Photographer for sharing the photos of the day.
We’ve known Derek for several years since he began visiting our original pop-up shop. Last year he even worked for our seasonal spinoff ugly sweater shop, Christmisc. Earlier this year his younger brother (and best man), Brock, joined our team at Pursuit. So this was a wedding in the Pursuit family and, naturally, the style was on point!
HCT is building its business as a social enterprise with a mission to provide meaningful employment and development opportunities to people affected by employment barriers such as poverty, previous incarceration, and homelessness. When Joe approached me, hoping to do something special for their team to celebrate and embody that big step, we immediately became excited to help and collaborate in a way that fit the spirit of both our companies.
As a shop owner, when one of your favorite bands is coming through town it’s natural to daydream about them stopping by to check out your store and play a private concert for your friends. When the daydream becomes reality you’re incredibly grateful for an event you’ll never forget. On the surface the pairing may seem […]
If you’re sitting at your desk, looking out the window at a gloomy scene, Punta Cana probably sounds pretty great. Here we present you with a brief reprieve in the form of Mindy and Max’s beach wedding in the paradise of the Dominican Republic. The couple wanted to escape the chill of November with their family […]
The end of the year brings celebration and excitement for what is to come. For Pursuit couple Katy & Andrew year-end was made extra special with a fantastic December 30th wedding! The ceremony was held at Columbus’ Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church and was complete with a U.S. Navy ‘Saber Arch’ send off. Our Dream Photos by James DeCamp Photography captured […]
Outdoor weddings are common in Ohio, but in December? Not so much! Thanks to unusually warm weather bride & groom Shelby & Cody called an audible the week of their wedding. Their venue, Columbus favorite Strongwater Food & Spirits, helped the couple shift from their indoor venue to a 68° outdoor ceremony two weeks before Christmas! Outfitting Cody and his […]
