As early as possible! We want all couples looking to outfit their entire wedding party to book a Wedding Consult no later than 7 months before your wedding so we can lock in your personalized wedding party timeline and wedding details at least 6 months in advance. If you're cutting it closer than that, reach out to see if we can accommodate an expedited timeline.
If you're only looking to get a single suit for yourself we typically recommend as soon as possible but no later than 3 months before your wedding.

- unTailored (Online): pick your style/size/fit and order on our website, then tailor locally on arrival
For suits, yes. Our stores are appointment-based for suits. Sometimes we are able to squeeze in last minute appointments and sometimes we book weeks in advance. In general, we recommend calling ahead for same day visits of any kind so that we can be sure not to waste any of your time.
This varies based on the type of suit selected, tailoring required, and how soon you are able to get an appointment with us.
We keep a limited assortment of ready-to-wear suits in our stores that you could potential leave with same-day. These are primarily our Pursuit Premium Suits.

When you need a suit in less than 2 weeks we will give you all your options which may include: paying a rush fee to expedite alterations, offering minimal alterations to ensure a wearable suit and inviting you back after your event for the remaining work, or allowing you to purchase an untailored suit and providing outside tailors who can potential do the work on your timeline. We always encourage you to make an appointment to come in as soon as possible to leave the most time for proper alterations. We do our best to help however we can.
Pursuit Custom suits are made just for you and typically take around a month to arrive. We recommend leaving additional time to for any in-house alterations that may be needed after your suits arrival. To be safe, schedule an appointment at least 2 months before your event.
Tailoring costs vary based on the alterations needed. We prefer to charge customers the direct cost of alterations they actually need instead building costs into the price of everyone's suit. Recently, we have found the average alteration cost to be $65/suit nearly all customers falling between $0 and $120. Suits purchased in-store include a complimentary (free) pant hem.
With Pursuit Custom Suits any necessary alterations are included in the purchase price.
We can do alterations on the shirts we sell as well, those are rare but typically range from $30-$65.
Please note, we DO NOT tailor items that were not purchased at Pursuit. For price of specific alterations, please reach out to your local Pursuit store.
