If you have not had the pleasure already, meet Tyler, Pursuit’s customer service coordinator, and his wonderful wife Emily! Before they were part of the Pursuit family they were a Pursuit Wedding (which seems close to family sometimes) enlisting the team to suit Tyler and the rest of his party.
Tyler says they chose Pursuit because
I loved the attention to detail that Nate gave me. He listened to my vision for my wedding and helped me curate the look I wanted. At that time I was pretty jaded with suit shops because no one would listen to what looks good on me. Pursuit was the first to get it.
Tyler and Emily were married July of last year in St Henry, Ohio. They are a couple with impeccable style day-to-day so we would expect nothing less of them on their big day!
Emily wore a gorgeous mermaid gown paired with a flowing veil which seemed to catch the perfect wind in their dreamy wedding photos.
Tyler and his party rocked Pursuit's blue three piece suit. The dark suits alongside the bridesmaids long, coral dresses made for a stunning contrast!
A friendly reminder, from the lovely couple to you, that things may not go 100% as planned...
Almost every man in the bridal party forgot some sort of item on the day of (shoes, vest, tie, etc). Luckily, they were able to get everything before the wedding was to start.
And they all looked great when the time came!
Your wedding is the beginning of so much more! We asked Tyler and Emily what they looked forward to beyond the wedding day and their responses were heart warming.

Learning how to live life with another individual is one of the biggest growing experiences in life and its lovely doing it with Emily.
The biggest part that I looked forward to was being able to sleep with my husband each night and wake up to him every morning. I looked forward to random meals together or starting new television shows together. I looked forward to the little things more than anything else.

Lastly, for those of you who are planning your wedding, some unedited Bride and Groom advice is always welcome!
From Emily
We did our shopping for small decorations and table clothes at thrift shops and second hand goods stores. We used Pinterest DIY ideas to decorate and refurnish these items. Pinterest can be your friend! Get everything planned with at least a month to spare until the wedding."Take the last month to take it all in and relax. Do not be afraid to ask for help with things such as decorations, dress shopping, etc. It is a fun process to share with those you love. Lastly, nothing will ever go 100% to plan, so sit back and relax and just enjoy your day because at the end of that day, no matter what happens, you’ll still be married to the love of your life.
From Tyler
Have one or two drinks at your wedding. Don't over do it. Your wedding day isn't the day to get rowdy. Be present and take time to appreciate having the majority of the people you love in one room at the same moment. It's worth it.
Oh and have fun.
Thank you Sarah Walk of Sarah Rose Photography for capturing the love and happiness that these two have for each other not just on this day but everyday! Also, thank you Emily and Tyler for sharing your wedding and giving such thoughtful feedback. I along with the rest of the team are excited to now celebrate all of your upcoming anniversaries!
Cheers to the Phillips family!
