What brands does Pursuit carry?
Pursuit offers suits, shirts, ties, belts and more from some of the top designers and the freshest up-and-coming brands. You'll find household names like DKNY, Michael Kors, and Calvin Klein. You'll also discover great new labels like DiBi, Privé, and Proof. We've chosen styles and brands we know you'll love. What's this 'pop-up retail' thing all about? Pop-up retail simply refers to a store that is intentionally created for a limited time. Pursuit has chosen to utilize pop-up retail so that we can come to you with a great store in just the time and place you need it. If you're like us, you'd prefer to skip the trip to the mall and shop close to home at a store that is unique. So if you're leaving, where will you go next? We plan to take Pursuit on the road to campuses around the Midwest and around the country. Being Buckeyes, our home base is Columbus but our reach will be much broader. If you think your town or school should be considered as a destination, drop us a note and let us know. I can buy suits from lots of places, what makes Pursuit different? Our focus is what makes us different. Most retailers try to be everything to everyone. We cut the clutter, give you just the styles relevant to you. And we believe that just because suits are often used for formal events that doesn't mean buying them needs to be a stuffy experience. From the minute you step in the door you'll know this isn't the same old store. How will I be sure my suit fits just right? We start by focusing primarily on slim fitting suit separates so guys can find the coat that fits best then the pants to match. This approach cuts down on alterations but to be sure the fit is just right we have an experienced tailor to make any adjustments necessary. Quick, affordable, and great fitting is our goal. I'm not a college guy. Can I still buy from Pursuit? Absolutely! Our locations will be near campuses so we focus much attention on that group, but our style is really for any man who wants to have a a great, modern look. Already our customers have ranged from thirteen to seventy. As Bob Dylan said "my name it is nothin', my age it means less". If you want to look great and enjoy the experience, come see us. Do you offer women's suits? At the moment we do not offer women's suits. However we do offer certain sunglasses, t-shirts, and accessories that have been popular with our female customers. Additionally, some of our best ambassadors are the women who tell all the men in their life it's time to dress well and send them our way. We greatly appreciate that support! Do I need to be skinny to wear 'slim' clothing? Absolutely not! We focus our selection on suits and shirts that are 'slim fit' because we feel that is what looks best on the majority of our customers, not just skinny guys. While it's not for everyone, it certainly makes many guys look better than the 90's era boxy suit they'd get elsewhere. If your waistline is narrow than your chest, you'll probably look better in a slim suit. And you also don't have to be 20 years old either, we sell slim suits to guys of all ages, and they look great!Nate DeMars

Growing up, Nate remembers raiding his great grandfather's closet for sweet sport coats and visiting his grandmother and aunt's bridal shop, where they made wedding dresses for over four decades. He still loves to jokingly boast about being voted 'best dressed' in his small-town, northern Wisconsin high school (cue the Bruce Springsteen "Glory Days"). After getting a marketing degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth he went to work for appliance giant, Whirlpool Corporation. His experience in the corporate world was in sales, training, and management where he worked with some of the most influential retailers in the world.
After getting his fill of washing machines he left to enter the MBA program at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. In an entrepreneurship class he created the idea that became Pursuit. The concept was honed over his final two quarters and he brought in friends and classmates, Anil and Shay, to help build the business. Since graduating in June of 2011 he has focused exclusively on creating a better way to buy suits and other clothing.
